I work with sculpture and site-specific installations but I’m probably best known for my light painting images which are created using just the camera and a range of light sources.

The light painting images are all made in camera, the images are real and what you see, is what I shoot.

Sola is the alter ego of photographer Peter Medlicott who, for the past 15+ years has created gallery, editorial and commercial commissions for some of the world’s biggest brands and publications including Ford, Nike, Lenovo and many more with sold out exhibitions in Munich and London.  

My work is published, featured in TV and media along with hundreds of blogs and newspapers as well as collected and exhibited across the world, and if you’re in the mood for a cruise, you can see my Linear Flow sculpture hanging as the centrepiece of the Royal Caribbean Spectrum of the Seas.
